Our Versatilis line of sunshades and brise soleil systems are becoming increasingly appreciated and implemented in international architecture.
These products represent the ideal solution for creating sun shade systems. The architect can choose among around 30 different profile sections, to be produced cut to length to satisfy any aesthetic or technical need. The profiles are hollow and provided with an internal aluminum reinforcement which has the dual task of becoming the structural element as well as allowing the mechanical attachment of the profiles.

Versatilis sunshades are applied to outdoor walls and façades for coverings, pergolas, fencing and railings. Our brise-soleils fit many different contexts, offering architects and designers exceptional freedom.
The sunshades block the UV rays and protect the building against adverse weather to guarantee an optimal internal temperature in any season.

Go to the projectLike all Woodn Greenwood systems, our WPC brise soleils are delivered with a complete set of installation and attachment accessories.
The boards are hollow and fitted with an internal aluminum reinforcement. It strengths the structure and constitutes a concealed attachment element between the boards, to ensure the best aesthetic result for the designer.

We make our Versatilis sunshades using the WOODN WPC composite wood formula to seal the surface and protect the board’s integrity over time.
The profiles are colorfast and dimensionally stable in all climates, for greater esthetic and functional longevity compared to natural wood. This makes WPC a significant material in reaching true sustainability in construction. Sunshade application possibilities are practically endless, with a wide range of colors and both smooth and matt finishes: interior and outdoor wall coverings, pergolas and fencing.

WPC sunshades are shading systems. When they are applied to windows or entire facades, they shield the building from the sun’s rays. In this way, they moderate the temperatures within the structure and they improve the energy efficiency of the building.
Sunshades should be applied to the walls most exposed to the sun and UV rays.
Thanks to the protective action of PVC, the use of certified pigments, and brushed or striped matte finishes, the color degradation of UV-exposed profiles is minimal upon initial exposure, after which it stabilizes. Specifically, there are no significant changes in shade after 5 years.
Versatilis WPC sunshades require minimal maintenance. After the first application, cleaning with high-pressure water under 80 bar is sufficient. The aesthetic performance doesn’t fade over time. In any case, a brief maintenance and handling manual for the slats is available in the Technical Area.
WPC is self-extinguishing, fire and weather resistant. The wood-polymer compound does not need protective coating, does not crack or splinter, is woodworm and mildew resistant, and comes in custom lengths.
Wood Plastic Composite is 100 percent recyclable. It’s made from wood powders which, in the case of Woodn Greenwood products, are FCP®-certified. All waste material is transformed by us into new raw material, which we reuse to produce new profiles. In this way, we combat global deforestation.
